South Korea-based BCcard Corporation has partnered with Expresspay Card to launch ‘Tour South Korea’ UnionPay prepaid cards in China.

The new prepaid card, which will be accepted in UnionPay acceptance network in more than 150 countries and regions worldwide, is aimed to target independent tourists and business travellers to South Korea.

The card will offer customers value-added privileges such as 10% cash refund for purchases at hypermarkets, convenience stores and designated stores in South Korea, exclusive discount coupons in Shilla Duty Free Shop, free Wi-Fi, and 50% off for tickets to designated scenic spots.

It will also provide exclusive offers and benefits in transportation, shopping and small-amount payment.

Further, the prepaid card will enable cardholders to become members of the app ‘Tour South Korea’ to enjoy services including travelogue sharing, hotel booking, interpretation and tour guide, international express delivery, airport drop-off and pick-up, car rental and taxi service.
