UK-based mobile commerce company Bango has launched carrier billing payment services for Hatch, a monthly subscription-based 5G games streaming platform.
The partnership will now allow customers to subscribe to Hatch Premium Gaming.
The fees associated with the subscription will be included in their monthly phone bill.
Hatch streams top tier 5G gaming titles on the phone without the need for local installs and without being limited by device storage.
The platform offers gamers an increased choice and flexibility in choosing from a vast library of premium games.
A new generation of 5G enabled devices are also being launched for gamers in the mobile market.
Hatch commercial partnerships VP Nick Thomas said: “The advent of 5G, increase in streaming games and 5G enabled devices is a marriage made in heaven for gamers.
“By working with Bango we can rapidly offer new ways to pay which enable more customers to enjoy our games.”
Hatch will also leverage Bango’s data insights technology solution to identify users who are most likely to be interested in subscription-based 5G gaming.
Dubbed Bango Boost, the solution will target offers to users who are interested in paid gaming services.
Bango payments strategy SVP Jim Plimmer said: “Bango is pleased to be powering subscription payments for Hatch 5G customers in the US.
“More choice is now available to gamers as the restrictions of bandwidth and latency are lifted with 5G mobile networks.
“The Hatch platform offers a library of leading game titles that stream perfectly over 5G.”
