B2 Payment Solutions has introduced a new kit to enable merchants to test various forms of consumer payments acceptance.

The B2 Mobile Test Suite includes two smartphones pre-loaded with static device test accounts.

The two phones are equipped to test the Apple Pay Wallet on the iPhone, and Visa and Mastercard test cards in an Android applet.

Testing other digital devices and hardware can also be enabled upon request.

B2 president Bruce Murray said: “Due to the complexity of the mobile payments integration required it is extremely beneficial to perform comprehensive testing of your contactless payment solution to ensure mobile payment devices work properly through the point-of-sale all the way to the issuer.

“B2’s Mobile Test Suite is ideal for this as it can assist our customers with application development, testing, training and performing demonstrations.”

The two smartphones uses Wi-Fi enabled as the primary communication mode. Customers can also use optional mobile data available using a provided SIM card.

Furthermore, B2 can remotely manage and update the mobile applications using the Mobile Device Management system (MDM). The remote management also ensure that the mobile devices work properly in testing environments.

Besides the Mobile Test Suite, B2 portfolio includes physical test card sets, consulting services, training and software development.
