Auto/Mate Dealership Systems has selected Worldpay to add new credit card processing capability to its dealership management system (DMS) software.

The Cashiering features under Auto/Mate’s Parts, Service and General Cash Receipts modules can now work through Worldpay credit card reading device and merchant solutions.

The move is intended to remove manual entry of credit card type and transaction details into the card reader, and cash receipt information into the DMS.

Auto/Mate expects that the improved credit card processing times will enhance customer satisfaction.

The new additions are additionally set to decrease paper credit card receipts as well as mistakes made by dealership personnel due to manual entry.

This elimination of paper receipts will be possible as Worldpay’s processing converts the repair order (RO) or parts invoice into a customer receipt that is sent through e-mail.
