Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), a US-based non-profit organisation, has partnered with Commerce Bank to launch a new exclusive, customised Mastercard credit card for pilots.

Member pilots of the AOPA will now be able to use the card with various benefits such as specific cash backs on various daily purchases, including those related to aviation, fuel and taxi costs.

In addition, the card includes benefits from the World Mastercard such as travel and concierge services, golf privileges, quick assistance with Mastercard ID Theft Protection, price protection and Mastercard Global Emergency Services.

AOPA president and CEO Mark Baker said: “Working with Commerce Bank, we have developed the best rewards credit card available to pilots.

“With a competitive cash back program focused on aviation-related products and services, this new card will allow pilots to save more of their hard earned money and spend it on what they love – flying.”

Commerce Bank senior vice-president Chad Doza said: “We are excited to join with AOPA in offering a customised credit card – the pilot’s card – as a way to show their support for the organisation, active pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
