Trustly allows swift and secure online banking e-payments (OBeP) across consumer bank accounts in Europe.

Following this partnership, AlphaHub platform will support Trustly’s payment solutions for banks, MSPs and merchant users.

This AlphaHub platform offers access to several fintech vendors under one dynamic API and user interface.

Alpha Fintech chief product officer Rónán Gallagher said: “Alpha Fintech are excited to work with Trustly to expose account-to-account payments across Europe to our customers.

“As more customers turn to bank-based payment methods, through the AlphaHub merchants will be able to offer this key payment method in markets as diverse as Australia, Singapore and now 29 countries in Europe via a single integration providing a consistent user experience.”

After the customer chooses Trustly in the checkout process, they will be redirected to their preferred country or they can select it manually from a drop down menu.

Once they have selected the country, customers will receive the list of banks that support Trustly real-time bank transfers in that particular country.

Subsequently, they can login to their online bank accounts to carry out the payment.

Currently, Trustly service is available in 29 countries and supports nearly 3.5 million purchases every month.
