Advanced Cash selects Wave Crest as prepaid programme manager

Advanced Cash has selected Wave Crest Group as prepaid programme manager to provide customers with a new MasterCard programme.

Advanced Cash has selected Wave Crest Group as prepaid programme manager to provide customers with a new MasterCard programme.Wave Crest is a UK-based multi-currency digital payments platform which will offer its MasterCard programme to Advanced Cash customers.

Through this platform, the Advanced Cash customers will gain flexibility to elect a virtual prepaid card account to quickly and conveniently gain access to funds on the Advanced Cash platform.

Additionally, the customers will have the opportunity to upgrade to a plastic card for in-person MasterCard purchases and cash access at ATMs.

Advanced Cash CEO, Yaacov Bitton, said: "Wave Crest’s Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and rich API library will accommodate the registration, loading and servicing of a prepaid card account, offering our customers frictionless, cloud-based MasterCard capabilities."

Wave Crest Group president, Miles Paschini, added: "Our web-based API gives Advanced Cash the ability to present our prepaid features and benefits direct to customers through their branded AdvCash.com site.

"And, as an e-money issuer and MasterCard member, Wave Crest delivers a program with financial flexibility. The Advanced Cash product highlights the flexibility of our B2B payment solutions and corporate payout card programs."

The Advanced Cash MasterCard programme is expected to launch in May 2014.
