ADIB launches VISA’s shipnow2.me service for online purchases

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has launched VISA's shipnow2.me service that makes online shopping easier for cardholders.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has launched VISA’s shipnow2.me service that makes online shopping easier for cardholders.

The service allows ADIB Visa card customers with a debit or a covered card to make online purchases in the USA and arrange delivery to the UAE.

ADIB said that customers can sign up for the new service free of charge.

The service aims to provide lowest shipping rates with free or premium package insurance as well as an initial 20% discount on shipping charges for 30 days from the time of registration.

ADIB head of retail banking UAE Philip King said: "People in the UAE are doing more of their shopping online and recent studies predict that e-Commerce in MENA region will to grow to $200bn by 2020.

"We are launching this service to address this need of our customers to help them get their online purchases delivered to them in the UAE and believe that this will set a new benchmark."
