Loyalty programme and gift card provider Ackroo has agreed to take over all of the assets of Resulto Développement Web’s hospitality and retail gift card and loyalty unit, WinWin Marketing.
Ackroo paid $114,355 in cash for the purchase.
The deal includes the transfer of the WinWin Marketing software platform and all related customer contracts to Ackroo.
The asset transfer is said to support the growth plans of Ackroo through hospitality as well as retail.
Ackroo CEO Steve Levely said: “While we have plans to consolidate more complimentary businesses in the years ahead, we also plan to continue to acquire more direct competitors like WinWin Marketing.
“The acquisition adds more Quebec based hospitality and retail merchant clients within brands like Baton Rouge, Dejeuner Egg Style and Chaussures Fillion, adds integrations to various POS solutions like Lightspeed POS, Acomba and Shopify, and will add over $75,000 a year of revenue, and growing, in the process.

Ackroo has carried out several consolidation activities in recent years.
Last May, the firm inked an agreement to purchase certain assets of Mobi724’s digital marketing and business intelligence (DMBI) business I.Q. 7/24 (iQ724).
In 2017, Ackroo agreed to acquire all of the assets of M3 Rebel’s gift card and loyalty processing solution business, KESM/LoyalMark.
Meanwhile, in August 2019, Ackroo introduced its payment services offering AckrooPAY.
The new proposition enables users to manage all their primary merchant currencies including gift cards and loyalty through a single platform.
