Brussels-based Clear2pay has teamed up with
the not-for-profit organisation ITSO to provide technical
specification for smart ticketing by implementing a certification
centre in the UK.
ITSO has been using Clear2Pay’s test
technology to certify the ITSO vendor community.
Under the new contract, Clear2Pay will provide
knowledge transfers enabling ITSO to operate its own testing and
certification centre.
ITSO has been involved in the UK’s department
for Transport’s Smart and Integrated Ticketing strategy which works
towards achieving paperless transport tickets.
A growing number of ITSO-compliant smart
ticketing schemes are in operation or development across
England.

with our expanding transport service community and help them and
the Government achieve their goals.”
