Bank of Moscow has partnered with MasterCard to launch a new mobile payment service that can be used to top up students’ personal accounts for school meals payments.

The task can be performed using MasterCard Mobile payment service or through MasterCard Mobile application.

The new service will be applicable for all the MasterCard, Maestro and Visa cards issued by any Russian bank and will not have any commission fee on funds transfer.

Bank of Moscow state, regional and municipal e-products directorate head Vadim Izotov said student’s personal account topping-up is a popular service among the Muscovites, and they hope that the new convenient and secure mode of payment will be in demand as well.

"In its turn, the Bank will ensure timely and accurate payments," Izotov added.

MasterCard Europe innovative payment technologies business development vice president Konstantin Abramov said MasterCard Mobile is a convenient service which is always at hand: any time you can use the application for smartphones or web service.
