The value marked an increase of 49.2% over the previous quarter and a rise of 157.2% when compared with the last four-quarter average of $695.91m.

Asia-Pacific held a 26.48% share of the global payments industry cross border venture financing deal value that totalled $6.76bn in Q3 2021. With a 5.58% share and deals worth $377.1m, India was the top country in Asia-Pacific’s cross border venture financing deal value across payments industry.

In terms of deal activity, Asia-Pacific recorded 25 cross border deals during Q3 2021, marking a flat growth over the previous quarter and a rise of 40.85% over the last four-quarter average. Singapore recorded seven deals during the month.
