Latin America’s B2B payment platform Cobre has formed a strategic alliance with TerraPay for facilitating global transactions.
The partnership is designed to enable businesses to conduct cross-border payments with a compliant infrastructure, reduced complexity, and quicker settlement durations.

By linking the enterprise payment platform of Cobre with the international network of TerraPay, businesses will be able to transfer real-time funds, tap into new markets, and alleviate the traditional challenges related to international payments.
According to TerraPay, this initiative highlights the companies’ joint goal to streamline financial operations for businesses operating in Latin America and other regions.

In July 2025, Blue Remit, a digital remittance subsidiary of Al Ansari Financial Services PJSC, entered into a partnership with TerraPay to strengthen its payout network.
In May, TerraPay partnered with Wave Mobile Money to enhance cross-border remittance services, allowing Malians to receive funds from abroad directly into their Wave mobile wallets.
This move integrates TerraPay’s international payment network with remittance inflows from Money Transfer Operators in North America and Europe into Mali.
