ACI Worldwide, a provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions, has collaborated with SWIFT for Alliance Lite2, the cloud-based connectivity to SWIFT.
The new cloud-based connectivity will be available through ACI’s global payment processing platform, Money Transfer System (MTS). It will be used by ACI to provide faster, cheaper access to SWIFT.

ACI will offers its SWIFT messaging suite and Alliance Lite2 as a fully integrated, end-to-end solution offering full regulatory compliance and ease of connectivity.
It is also integrated with other payment types, providing a single point of access for all payment needs, ACI said.
Edward Adams, head of business development for North America at SWIFT, said: “We are delighted to partner with ACI on the Alliance Lite2 for Business Applications program. Through ACI’s industry-leading solution with MTS, Lite2 will provide a seamless, efficient way for banks to connect to SWIFT.”
MTS is a global payment engine that offers multi-bank, multi-currency and 24×7 payment processing capabilities. It also offers seamless integration with multiple clearing and settlement mechanisms, as well as SWIFT messaging. Alliance Lite2 provides a new, fast and cost effective connectivity option to SWIFT.
