BPC Technologies has signed a deal with
Panama-based processer TELERED to replace its processing platform
with BPC’s SmartVista platform.
TELERED is Panama’s national payments
processor and switching company and runs an ATM acquiring
businesses, as well as network management.

In the initial period of the transaction
processing and ATM network service and monitoring upgrade, BPC will
implement its SmartSwitch (a routing and authorisation engine) and
SmartATM solution into TELERED’s payments infrastructure.
Upcoming upgrades will include POS acquisition
and management, integration to e-banking services, utility bill
payments, fraud prevention, m-commerce and cash management across
the ATM network.
TELERED’s ATM network spans 1,200 devices.
