Blockchain startup Ternio has announced that its cryptocurrency debit card will function on Visa payment network for US customers.
Known as BlockCard, the crypto debit card supports many cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Stellar Lumens (XLM) and Ternio (TERN).

These cryptocurrencies can be deposited by their users in their BlockCard account at GetBlockCard.com.
Customers will have the option to choose from plastic card, virtual card or metal card, the company said.
Customers also have the option to sign up for BlockCard account before the launch.
Ternio CEO Daniel Gouldman said: “Millions of people hold cryptocurrency, but until today there was not an easy to use option for them to quickly and efficiently spend the value of their crypto.

BlockCard, which was launched in January this year, has so far been signed up by 6000 customers. The processing of BlockCard payments are facilitated through a crypto exchange.
