A new expense management tool has been
developed aimed at giving Citizens Bank and Charter One’s small
business clients greater control over company expenses.
Citizens Financial Group’s AccessCARD Command
uses MasterCard’s InControl platform which allows business owners
to set spending controls on the cards issued to employees. It also
allows them to receive real-time information on the account
including purchases and attempted purchases.

The programme will also allow Citizens’
business cardholders to define how, when and for what types of
purchases the cards are used, and create virtual card numbers so
spending controls can be set per transaction and security can be
increased.

AccessCARD Command will be available to all
Citizens Bank and Charter One commercial card customers with annual
revenues of less than $25m.
