US-based transaction technology company, Maas
Global Solutions (MGS), has integrated its Paymentsite Gateway with
payment processor TSYS’s in-house payment capture system.
Known as Summit, the service moves the payment
acceptance logic from the point-of-sale (POS) device to the TSYS
host.

Maas Global Solutions said in a
statement, this aims to relieve the POS device
from having to store sensitive data while significantly reducing
compliance related terminal downloads.
Summit’s host capture feature is not only for
retail sales environments, but for any e-commerce, mail, and
telephone order merchants who want automated settlement.
