Connect, a cloud-based mobile payments gateway, have surpassed
$10bn in the US in the past year.
VeriFone CEO Douglas Bergeron said that the

VeriFone’s PAYware Connect is a cloud-based
mobile payments gateway solution that is PCI compliant and offers
end-to-end encryption.
The gateway solution consolidates different
types of payments processing and enables merchants using the
service to view a broad range of reports and analytics.
VeriFone has made a number of
acquisitions in the past year, including
Point, and has kicked off 2012 with 50% year-on-year increase
in first quarter net revenue income of $425m.
