Eight hotels managed by Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts participating in the first of three promotions running concurrently, are offering discounts of 40% on Platinum cards and discounts of 30% on Gold and Silver credit cards issued by Commercial Bank, up to 31st October.
The participating hotels are Cinnamon Lodge – Habarana, Cinnamon Citadel – Kandy, Cinnamon Bay – Beruwela, Cinnamon Wild – Yala, Chaaya Village – Habarana, Chaaya Tranz – Hikkaduwa, Chaaya Blu – Trincomalee and Bentota Beach Hotel – Bentota. Discounts are only applicable on new bookings and are not applicable for online bookings.

Under Commercial Bank’s travel-related promotion, all holders of credit cards issued by the Bank are eligible for zero-interest instalment schemes on travel packages booked through Mackinnon’s Travels, up to 25th December 2013. Card holders who opt for a 12-month repayment package will receive the cash price, while those who opt for 18 -month or 24-month repayment schemes will have their last instalment or last two instalments respectively waived off, the Bank said.
Meanwhile, Commercial Bank credit and debit card holders looking to purchase home appliances from Singer (Sri Lanka) managed outlets countrywide, will receive discounts of up to 20% on selected products, up to 16th December 2013. They may also opt for zero-interest instalment schemes of three, six, nine and 12 months on discounted prices.
"As always, these promotions are designed to offer tangible savings from top quality service providers and vendors," the Bank said. "Negotiating such offers is one of the many ways in which we add value to Commercial Bank credit and debit cards."
