As part of its campaign to promote credit cards, Bank of Moscow has rewarded two of its customers with a Mercedes car each.

The top prize was awarded by the bank to Roman Dokuchaev from Tula and Sergei Timoshenko from Moscow, on the basis of their credit card expenditures being the highest among the bank’s customers’.

Aimed at attracting interest to the bank’s credit card offering, the bank’s ‘Credit Card Rocks!’ promotion campaign had seen two Mercedes-Benz A-class cars up for grabs, one for VISA and one for MasterCard users.

Alongside the top-prize winners, 400 of the bank’s clients received rewards including 20 Applie iPad mini tablets and 380 RUB 1000 ($30) transfers to mobile phone accounts.

To enter the competition, customers of Bank of Moscow had to carry out RUB 1000 worth of transactions on pre-approved credit cards between 15 August and 15 October 2013.

Commenting on the prize-giving, Natalia Konovalova, managing director of Bank of Moscow’s retail product department, said: "We are glad that our promotion action does not only arouse interest in credit cards as a convenient and reliable payment instrument, but also brings joy to our clients."
