Turkey-based BKM (Interbank Card Center) has partnered with Redsys of Spain for interoperability of iupay and BKM Express digital wallets across the borders.
The partnership will allow Turkish cardholders to conduct e-commerce transactions at iupay merchants by using their BKM Express digital wallet. Similarly Spanish cardholders can shop online at BKM Express merchants, which cover 40% of e-commerce market in Turkey, by using their iupay digital wallet and without sharing any card information.

In addition to interoperability, the alliance will provide core services such as switching, clearing and settlement, and information services.
Both the firms will also ensure that cardholders performing online shopping with their national wallets are provided required security, ease and speed, enhancing their shopping experience.
