Allied Wallet, a provider of online payment processing, has recently received license to issue MasterCard and Maestro cards in various regions of Europe.
MasterCard appointed Allied Wallet as a licensed issuer of MasterCard or Maestro cards following a review into the company practices.
Allied Wallet can issue MasterCard or Maestro cards in regions including the UK, Germany, France, and Spain among others.
Allied Wallet CEO Andy Khawaja commented, "Allied Wallet has strived to connect consumers and business owners from all over the world, connecting 196 countries and giving them a safe way to transact internationally."
Allied Wallet, which already supports more than 100 million users, said that all users in supported regions will be eligible for MasterCard or Maestro card issuing.
