InteliSpend Prepaid Solutions, a part of Blackhawk Network, has launched its MasterCard prepaid cards in Canada.

The launch includes Preferences MasterCard Prepaid Card and the Universal MasterCard Prepaid Card with 5% Back feature. InteliSpend’s MasterCard prepaid cards are issued by Peoples Trust Company.
The Preferences MasterCard Prepaid Card, which is built with InteliSpend’s DirectSpend technology, allows the businesses to determine exactly where the card can be redeemed.
The Universal MasterCard Prepaid Card can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. The card is available only from InteliSpend and it is provided at no cost to the clients.
The 5% Back feature gives cardholders a bonus equal to 5% of their transaction amount if they use their cards at the selected merchant locations in Canada.
