RDM Corporation, a Canada-based remote deposit capture (RDC) solutions provider, has launched its patented Simply Deposit Mobile (SDM) remote deposit capture (RDC) solution for mobile devices.
The new mobile platform will add remittance capture functionality to mobile remote deposit capture for smartphones and tablets.

According to RDM, financial institutions will be able to more readily address mobile workforces such as insurance agents, property management companies and delivery drivers to increase productivity with the functionality of SDM.
In addition to capturing and keying cheque amount and data, smartphone and tablet users will also be able to capture remittance documents and key data into customised entry fields.
RDM Corporation sales vice president, Harry Rose, said: "SDM provides mobile users with check and remittance capture capabilities similar to our comprehensive desktop RDC solutions. This provides financial institutions the ability to differentiate themselves and increase customer acquisition and retention."
