American Express has launched new American Express AeroplanPlus Reserve Card to provide travel benefits to Aeroplan members by collaborating with Aeroplan and Air Canada.

The new card will offer two Aeroplan miles for every $1 of eligible Air Canada purchases, and 1.25 Aeroplan miles on all other purchases besides 50,000 bonus Aeroplan miles for expenditure of or above $3,000 in the first three months.

Customers will be privileged with $200 annual travel credit on booking through American Express Travel Services apart from unlimited access to Air Canada Maple Leaf lounges and Priority Pass lounges, Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Five Star Membership and access to American Express AeroplanPlus Reserve Card benefits at Pearson Airport.

Air Canada customer engagement marketing senior director Ian Di Tullio said: "This new card product is specifically designed to enhance the travel experience by providing a complimentary first checked baggage, priority check-in, and unlimited access to Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges."
