Synchrony Financial, a US-based consumer financial services company, has partnered with Chevron U.S.A. to launch a new Techron Advantage Fuel Credits Program for consumers.

With this program, both new and existing personal private label and dual-branded Visa cardholders can earn additional Fuel Credits on their fuel purchases at nearly 8,000 Chevron and Texaco-branded stations nationwide.
The new program is part of a multi-year extension signed between the two companies for Chevron’s personal credit card program.
The Techron Advantage Credit Card and Visa Card will allow cardholders to earn three cents per gallon in Fuel Credits at participating Chevron and Texaco stations across the US.
In addition, Techron Advantage Visa cardholders can earn 10 cents per gallon in Fuel Credits for purchase of $300 or more outside of fuel merchants each month, or 20 cents per gallon in Fuel Credits for purchases of $1,000 or more outside of fuel merchants each month.

By GlobalDataAs part of the program, each new cardholder who opens an account between 1 July and September 30 can earn a promotional offer of 30 cents per gallon in Fuel Credits for the first 60 days from their account open date.
Furthermore, all Techron Advantage credit cards offer exclusive cardholder savings throughout the year, zero fraud liability and the convenience of mobile and online account management, while the new Techron Advantage Visa Card, which is issued by Synchrony Bank, features chip-enabled technology for enhanced fraud security.
