Micropross, a provider of test equipment for the smart card, RFID and NFC industries, has launched a new service to test contactless smart cards and NFC devices.

The test will be carried out according to the new ISO 10373-6:2015 standard, which brings specific test methods for alternative form factors to the traditional smart card, EMD characterisation, and test of the VHBR technology.
The new test suite will utilise the MP500 TCL3 contactless tester, along with the MPManager 3 test platform.
The company said that the test suite will drive all components of the test setup to produce standardised test conditions, and perform the measurement at the right moment, offering the user a clear pass or fail verdict and relevant debug information.
The MP500 TCL3 contactless tester will also perform EMVCo L1, NFC Forum and all ISO defined test cases, from both an analog and digital perspective, serving as a card or terminal emulator.
