UL has launched a new version of its Visa cloud-based functional test tool, designed to help ensure the quality of tokenised payments on a Visa payWave mobile payment application.
The tool, officially approved by Visa, will implement the new Visa cloud-based payments contactless specification through Visa’s related cloud-based test plan.
It will enable Visa card issuers as well as third party mobile application developers in testing and approval of their Visa payWave mobile payment applications implemented as an HCE compatible mobile application.
The tool will cover all Visa payWave transactions as well as test card image definitions, with all test cases to run as a fully automated script to carry out the checks as specified by Visa.
In addition, the tool will support the Visa defined personalisation sequence to facilitate unattended automated testing, as well as support user defined custom personalisation procedures and profiles.
