Visa has appointed Eduardo Coello as its new group executive for the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region.
Coello will replace Eduardo Eraña, who will retire at year-end following a 31-year tenure at Visa.
In the new role, Coello will be tasked with managing all of Visa’s operations in the LAC region such as regional business development and client relationship management with financial institutions, merchants, and partners across LAC’s 44 countries.
He is due to assume the new role on 1 September 2015 and will report to Visa president Ryan McInerney.
During his 15-year long career at Visa, Coello has held the position of group country manager for the Greater Latin America and Caribbean (GLAC) region at Visa since 2013.
