SBI Card, a subsidiary of State Bank of India (SBI), has released its latest premium credit card with host of facilities designed to target the high net worth individuals (HNIs).

The new card, Elite, has been launched on the MasterCard World platform. It features NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, which enables cardholders to execute a contactless payment quickly and conveniently.

To obtain a new credit card, the users will have to pay a joining fee of INR 4,999 ($74.11) and all customers will get a welcome gift worth INR5,000 ($74.13).

The new credit card also offers host of benefits comprising 24×7 concierge services, golf course reservations, spa, and limousine or movie ticket bookings – all of these can be availed with just one phone call.

Up to 50,000 bonus points on milestone spends of INR 300,000 ($4,447) can be earned by cardholders. In addition, they will get INR 500 ($7.41) off on movie tickets every month.

For frequent fliers, ELITE offers lounge access through ‘priority pass programme’ at more than 850 airports across the world.
