American Express Canada has launched its new offering that enables cardholders to redeem membership rewards points for purchases on Amazon.ca.

Canadian card members enrolled in the membership rewards programme can use points to pay for purchases, in part or in full, on Amazon.ca.

To avail the new offering, users will need to complete a one-time registration to safely link their membership rewards account to their Amazon.ca account.

Cardholders can enjoy the convenience and simplicity of the new payment option at checkout to purchase items such as books, video games among others.

Users will also have the option to use their points for a range of rewards from the membership rewards programme across popular categories, such as travel, dining and entertainment, retail and charities.

American Express Canada director for consumer cards and loyalty Laura Scheck said: “This partnership marks an evolution of our Membership Rewards program.
