Flint Mobile, a mobile payments applications developer, has partnered with Leap Payments, a credit card merchant services firm, to resell its mobile payment services.
Under the partnership, Leap will use Flint’s differentiated solution to provide a combination of capabilities to win in the small business marketplace.
Flint Mobile said that local service businesses will benefit from its combination of instant setup, credit card acceptance without a card reader, and on-the-go invoicing with online payments.
Through this deal, Leap will promote Flint to new customers, merchant account customers, and merchants who might otherwise choose card reader-based mobile solutions.
Flint co-founder and CEO Greg Goldfarb, said: "We have optimised for service verticals by uniquely bringing multiple payment use cases together in one simple app and there has been tremendous adoption among the segments where Leap specialises."
Leap Payments CEO, Will Detterman, added: "Flint Mobile has the advantage of not requiring card reader hardware, making it easy for us to support and an ideal tool for on-the-go businesses that are moving away from more traditional merchant services."
