net mobile (net-m), a provider of app store payment solutions, has implemented a payment service for Sony Network Entertainment and Sony Computer Entertainment on behalf of the Japanese network operator NTT DOCOMO.

As a result, NTT DOCOMO customers can download games, movies, TV shows and use Sony’s Music Unlimited Service, on PlayStation Store and Sony Entertainment Network, by making payments through their mobile phone bills.

Edgar Schnorpfeil, CEO of net mobile, said that the company’s innovative Direct Carrier Billing solution has a cutting edge USP: it is quick to implement and can be individually tailored to each client’s requirements.

"This flexibility makes us the preferred partner for many global service providers. The fact that the Japanese market leader NTT DOCOMO has again placed their trust in our solutions makes us very happy and reflects our technical capabilities, which we are extremely proud of," added Schnorpfeil.

net-m will grant users access to the payment service through the Sony Entertainment portal or through the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 3 (PS3) and to pay for the services.
