Out of the total IT job titles posted by Societe Generale, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 64.98% in June 2021, and a 48.79% growth over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 18.78% in June 2021, and registered a 28.99% an increase. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.7% in June 2021, an 187.5% rise from May 2021.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in June 2021 with an 82.49% share, which marked a 64.98% growth over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 15.82%, registering a 22.95% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 1.05% share and a 44.44% drop over May 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.63% and a month-on-month decline of 57.14%.
Mexico commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 71.73% share in June 2021, a 51.11% growth over May 2021. Canada featured next with an 8.65% share, up 355.56% over the previous month.France recorded an 8.44% share, an increase of 29.03% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Societe Generale IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.32%, up by 38.37% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 17.51% share, a growth of 72.92% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.17% share, up 385.71% over May 2021.
