US-based company Affiliated Managers Group’s IT hiring an increased 73.9% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 63.66% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 45.43% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 7.43% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Affiliated Managers Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 94.96% in June 2021, and a 26.23% growth over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 4.26% in June 2021, and registered a 40.74% an increase. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 0.5% in June 2021, an 83.64% drop from May 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 66.14% share, which marked a 21.27% growth over the previous month.

North America stood next with 33.69%, registering a 24.43% month-on-month growth. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 0.17% share and a 200% growth over May 2021.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 62.16% share in June 2021, a 21.73% growth over May 2021. the US featured next with a 29.71% share, up 22.69% over the previous month.Canada recorded a 3.98% share, an increase of 39.22% compared with May 2021.

Entry Level jobs lead Affiliated Managers Group IT hiring activity in June 2021

Entry Level jobs held a share of 54.93%, up by 22.5% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.94% share, a growth of 36.92% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Junior Level job ads with 20.12% share, up 8.13% over May 2021.
