By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 63.83% in June 2021, a 35.99% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 14.7% share, an increase of 37.53% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.17%, registering a 38% rise from May 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.52%, up 4.77% over the previous month.
Top five banking and payments companies in the US IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 139.35% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US banking and payments industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Nelnet posted 1,390 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 1318.37% over the previous month, followed by JPMorgan Chase with 1,028 jobs and a 72.48% growth. Citizens Financial Group with 911 IT jobs and Affiliated Managers Group with 530 jobs, recorded a 236.16% growth and a 22.69% increase, respectively, while Wells Fargo recorded a 13.99% decline with 289 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.41%, up by 17.49% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 30.37% share, a growth of 51.89% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.74% share, up 144.37% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 2.48%, recording a month-on-month an increase of 46.03%.
