Electronic payments giant MasterCard has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Russian processing service providers to undertake the company’s switching and transaction services in the country.
The company is seeking a partner authorization, clearing and settlement of domestic MasterCard operations that is licensed by the Russian Central Bank in the register of payment system operators.
MasterCard Russia general manager Ilya Riaby said MasterCard was inviting the Russian companies who operate in the payment processing industry to take part in RFP.
"Russia is an important market for MasterCard and the company is committed to providing the best possible services for Russian cardholders while continuing to develop electronic payment innovations in the market," added Riaby.
