British payments solution provider Judo Payments has formed a partnership with coffee shop chain Harris + Hoole (H+H) to incorporate new payments service in H+H’s mobile app.

Aimed at streamlining the ordering and payment process, the new payment option allows customers to add a pre-paid balance to the app and use the same to pay for items in store.

H+H digital experience director Danielle Anderson said offering payments to H+H consumers through the app was a compelling part of its overall customer journey.

"judo was chosen to help H+H deliver an easy to use and secure charging interface, which allows our customers to get even more value," added Anderson.

The H+H app allows customers to check-in the café and select their order with balance updated automatically.

Judo Payments sales and marketing VP Michael De Jongh said, "The Harris+Hoole app delivers a digital experience to customers that far surpasses anything seen so far on the UK high street. It sets Harris+Hoole apart as the only brand of coffee shops that truly understands its customers and what they want."
