MasterCard’s subsidiary DataCash has collaborated with Leumi Card, a unit of Leumi Bank, to introduce an e-commerce payments platform for European merchants.

As per the arrangement, Leumi Card will offer a white label solution deploying DataCash’s payments technology for their merchant customers. The collaboration will provide merchants a single payments and acquiring service.

DataCash president Andrea Scerch said, "We are delighted to be working with Leumi Card, who will not only benefit from an advanced payment gateway but will also be able to adopt new payment methods and technologies with ease."

Alongside providing a centralized payments management system, the new service mitigates the complexity of payments processing across multiple channels, geographies and devices.

MasterCard Central Eastern Europe and Israel president Carlo Enrico said, "The Israeli market is at the forefront of innovation, so this partnership is an important milestone for MasterCard’s vision to enable electronic commerce for everyone, on every device, everywhere."
