Equipped with first-of-its-kind biometric and identity protection technologies, the Wockets are expected to ship to consumers in September this year.

"With most tech companies manufacturing overseas for reasons of economy, we are proud to announce that we will be partnering with MC Assembly to manufacture our biometric smart wallet in Melbourne, Florida.
"We hope to create a win-win situation where we can offer consumers superior product and help to create jobs in the local economy," Pereira added.
NXT-ID has chosen MC Assembly as its manufacturing partner, which has operations in Winchester, Massachusetts, Palm Bay Florida and Zacatecas, Mexico.
