Amadeus e-Travel Management has integrated the payment technology of Conferma, a provider of Virtual Card Number (VCN) technology, to its online self-booking tool.

Successful integration of the Conferma solution into Amadeus Billback will enable TMCs and their corporate clients to use VCNs as a payment method for Amadeus GDS hotel bookings.
The new technology will capture every transaction data into Conferma’s VCNs and present them to TMCs and travel managers through SNAP, Conferma’s management information and reporting tool, which will provide corporate clients with complete visibility and control over their hotel spend.
Amadeus will initially launch the project in the UK with a number of leading TMCs followed by its launch in other countries in the offing.
