National Retail Solutions (NRS), a point of sale (POS) provider to retail stores, has introduced an online ordering app.
The offering, called BR Club app, will allow NRS independent retailers provide online ordering services to the customers.
With this BR Club app, the company seeks to enable the retailers manage the sudden increase in phone orders following Covid-19 crisis.
The service will enable customers complete payment process as well as choose delivery or pick-up for their purchases.
NRS president Elie Y. Katz said: “Many of our stores have seen large increases in phone orders during the Covid-19 pandemic, but handling so many orders over the phone is not always practical.
“Receiving customer orders directly from the BR Club app allows stores to handle simultaneous orders and to efficiently organize and prepare items for pick-up or delivery.”

By GlobalDataThe new app is directly integrated with the NRS POS system. The app leverages the store’s barcode-scanned inventory to sort items and POS price book to log prices.
Once an order is placed, the app relays it to the store’s POS system notifying the cashier. Subsequently, the store can start processing the order.
With every order, the POS system’s inventory is automatically adjusted.
The BR Club app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android) for free.
