US fintech firm Fiserv has purchased enterprise POS systems provider Bypass Mobile for an undisclosed sum.
Through the takeover, Fiserv aims to support its next-generation of omni-commerce capabilities.
The combination is said to boost operational efficiency and offer an enhanced security layer.
The integration of the two firms’ capabilities is also said to offer a holistic picture of customer interactions.
Bypass CEO Brandon Lloyd said: “In an age of increasing customer expectations, it is critical that businesses have a robust and easy-to-use omni-commerce platform.
“In combination with Fiserv, we will help businesses accept payments efficiently while continuing to meet customer expectations by providing a variety of payment options.”
