The Rabo Wallet will leverage G&D’s mobile application platform Convego AppWorld and Trusted Service Management (TSM) service for secure mobile payments.
The solution will enable consumers in the Netherlands to use their Samsung S4 and Note 3 smart phones to pay for shopping, check balances, store loyalty cards and to redeem digital vouchers via Near Field Communication (NFC) in shops that are equipped with contactless terminals.
G&D’s TSM service, which is connected to Samsung’s provisioning solution, will enable Rabobank to manage the complete life cycle of its mobile debit card after issuance.
The partnership with G&D will allow Rabobank and its partners to use the Convego AppWorld development kit to set up services to offer their customers via the remote G&D managed services.
