MYHSM, a UK-based firm that provides Payment Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) as a Service, has entered into a collaboration with Equinix.
As part of the agreement, Platform Equinix will host MYHSM equipment. Additionally, MYHSM will also utilise Equinix connectivity services.
Payment HSMs are an essential component to secure payment processing and card issuing systems. MYHSM provides clients with a suite of managed services as an alternative to deploying Payment HSMs in the traditional own-and-operate way.
With this partnership, MYHSM seeks to bolster its position as a world-wide service provider.
The partnership is also expected to expedite access to Payment HSM capabilities as a cloud service.
Furthermore, it will help MYHSM to address security requirements of the firms operating within the global payments ecosystem.
