PayPoint, a UK-based payment solutions provider, has selected Moki’s Total Control system to manage the deployment of its next generation point of sale (POS) terminals in the UK and internationally.

PayPoint, which manages over £14bn from over 800 million transactions annually for more than 5,500 clients and merchants, selected Moki to implement and scale a new generation of payment platform terminals.

The deal covers deployment of Moki software to those outlets in PayPoint’s 37,000 retail network that need stand-alone terminals.

Moki Total Control will offer remote management, security and policy-based compliance of all PayPoint in-store payment devices.

Moki said it will work with PayPoint to help with terminal design and supplier shortlisting to meet the demanding specifications.

PayPoint CIO Jon Marchant said: "By implementing Moki Total Control, we are able to engage retailers, merchants and consumers across a multi-channel payment spectrum as well as aggressively expand our international footprint in a dramatically more seamless and scalable fashion.
