Mercury Payment Systems, a provider of payments technology and services, and Datacap Systems, an integrated payments middleware provider, have completed the certification for an EMV-capable solution for Integrated Software Vendors (ISVs) and SMBs.

The solution, which is certified to the card brands for EMV, includes card data encryption and tokenization in a version of NETePay.

NETePay for PC-based point of sale provides POS ISVs with the ability to deliver EMV functionality via a simple out-of-scope interface.

Mercury Payment said that ISV partners can integrate and certify with it through Datacap’s dsiEMVUS.

Datacap Systems marketing director Justin Zeigler said: "We’re ecstatic to make our initial U.S. EMV release available for Mercury and its partners. Mercury has been very aggressive in assisting the integration channel to deliver a full suite of payment security options to their merchant base, including point-to-point encryption, tokenization and now EMV."
