ANZ deploys Moneythor to enable customers to save and budget
The initial deployment will focus on helping customers achieve their savings goals with personalised spending insights and actionable nudges.
Furthermore, ANZ will use the Moneythor money management solution to offer tailored recommendations and insights. This will enable customers to pick the offers and services that suit their needs the most.
Programme Director of data at ANZ, Joe Lewis, stated:
“We constantly look at unlocking the power of data and analytics to help our customers better understand where their money is going. Also to assist them in building savings habits. The Moneythor technology with its built-in transaction data analytics and its nudge engine will be a core component of this solution.

Over the past couple of months ANZ has been accelerating its digital services to offer its customers a more broader range of channels to engage from.
In September, ANZ launched cardless ATM withdrawals. The cardless ATM withdrawals will work across ANZ’s range of mobile payments: Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Gamin Pay and Fitbit Pay
The number of customers using digital wallets has also soared in Australia. There are more than 1 million ANZ customers currently using digital wallets loaded with an ANZ-issued card.
