International commerce specialist Powa Technologies has joined forces with Mexico-based POS software provider Sophitech to deliver a next generation, fully integrated tablet-based payment solution to the Mexican merchants.

Sophitech has recently rolled out a cloud-based POS application for iPad, dubbed SkyPOS. The app is now available and fully integrated with the PowaPOS T25.
The collaboration is aimed at tapping into the growing retailer demand to use tablets for their businesses owing to its mobility, sophistication and cost effectiveness, mainly for SMEs.
Sophitech CEO Edgar Animas said: "The advanced PowaPOS platform has allowed our development team to easily integrate SkyPOS in a very short time. Derived from this integration effort, we can now bring to market a comprehensive POS solution which benefits all merchants.
